Hips openning

The hip joints are as you know spherical and require to open them in their 6 directions; flexion, extension, adduction, abduction, external and internal rotation.

The postures of opening the hips are on the one hand beneficial because they allow to release the emotions that one forbids oneself to live (= repressed) which are positive, such as a giggle or negative such as a restrained cry, but also because very mobile joints must have a strong resistance to remain healthy and stable.

This sequence which strengthens and relaxes the muscles, ligaments and joints of the hips not only ensures their stability but also generates good health of the knees, the sacroiliac region and the lower spine.

Practicing these postures can make you very emotional as the postures infuse for up to 24 hours afterwards, it means that the detoxification is taking place. Remember to hydrate properly during this time.

SEQUENCE

Practice focused on opening the hips in their six senses; flexion, extension, adduction, abduction, internal and external rotation. This sequence allows you to release all the emotions repressed and stored in the hips like an emotional detox.
