FLUIDITY OF YOGA VINYASA

A sequence of dynamic postures, initiated and harmonized by breathing.

This creative sequence leads to being less focused on alignment but more on the art of moving with the breath, like a meditation in motion. The postures are followed by four or even five without settling too much. The body heats up quickly, breathing should be kept calm and deep throughout the practice. This freedom of movement makes the practice more accessible and less intimidating than more rigorous styles of yoga.

The final relaxation provides immediate intense relaxation.

Vinyasa yoga provides internal cleansing because perspiration helps eliminate toxins and get rid of impurities.

It creates strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. It sculpts and tones the silhouette.

Without discontinuity, poses and counter poses are performed throughout the sequence, working first on one side of the body and then the other.

To install the students in the fluidity of movement, the vinyasa sequences are often accompanied by music, for this we have created a playlist of 60 or 90 minutes.

The term vinyasa comes from the Sanskrit word "Nyasa" which means "to place", we place the breath with movement.

To move in full awareness and link movement to breath, we use Ujjayi breathing called the “victorious breath”. Using this breath during practice makes it possible on the physical plane to revitalize, easily lengthen the breath, and to subtle the practice. Managing your respiratory rate has beneficial consequences on cardiovascular activity, gas exchange, blood parameters, and the overall metabolism. This breathing will significantly impact the concentration and energy put into the postures even if they are not held for long.
