MAYURASANA the peacock pose

The yoga of asanas is a form of physical practice that has a positive impact on the glands, organs, muscles and the mind. Mayurasana, the peacock pose, is one of the most effective detoxifying poses.

Indeed, this posture neutralizes the effects of bad food by creating heat in the stomach thanks to the placement of the arms and the strength of the body. It is even said to eliminate the effects of poisons and that it can cure tumors and fever effectively. The position of the arms increases the pressure in the abdomen area and directs the blood to the digestive organs , it also helps to firm the abdominals. The organs of the spleen, liver, pancreas and stomach are invigorated and the nerves and muscles that are connected to the intestine and kidneys are rejuvenated and energized. This pressure on the organs helps fight related problems. constipation, indigestion, hemorrhoids, diabetes and stomach acid.

Mayurasana also strengthens the arms, abdominals, shoulders, wrists and elbows. The notion of finding balance and balance itself reduces stress and calms the mind.

This posture being difficult, the sequence still allows at different levels to perform it in full version but with accessories.
