We end our sequences on the five elements with the element Earth which is the last of the five great elements, it is born and evolves from the other four elements, it contains the essence of these elements in it. The Earth gives shape to the human body and to all creations, it is from it that the other elements act and spread. It provides the structure and foundation that allow tissue growth and development.
The qualities of the Earth are solid, heavy, cold, raw, dense, hard, calm. Understanding all its qualities means better controlling your balance and knowing when to increase or decrease its presence in our body.
A person in need of Earth feels lost, vulnerable, in loss of confidence, irritable or stressed. She has weakened body and fragile bones. As the function of the earth is to maintain body heat and regulate internal temperature, a person in need of earth cools quickly.
Conversely, a person with excess Earth has a body that remains structured but more toxic and will have problems with digestion. The more the Earth element is present in the body, the more the structure of the body becomes rigid. A person with a lot of this element in their body often has hard skin, strong nails, large muscles and thick hair.
The balanced Earth element, the person is stable and grounded, confident but flexible and his decisions are considered.
In this sequence, we take root by the feet, hands, skull and sides of the body to better rise to the sky from strong roots. It tones and strengthens the muscles and joints of the body. The work of seeking balance puts the mind in calm and stability.
